I kept the old SSD as a backup boot device just in case something happens. I did that myself with the data migration cloning software. The specs are much better and I wasn't ready for the Samsung 960 Pro. I did immediately swap out the sock ADATA 240 gig SSD C drive with the 512 gig Samsung 850 Pro.
I was looking at the Corsair Hydro Series H60 120mm Liquid CPU Cooler, but will do more research when the time comes.
I will keep an eye on it and will most likely upgrade it within the next year, just to ensure I have a good quality liquid cooler. That was the same story with the stock liquid cooler that came with the system.
The difference between Windows 10 Pro and Home as only +$31.00 If I would have went with the custom build from IBUYPOWER website, it would have been much more money overall. Not that it would have mattered, because Windows 10 Home is what came with his package. I did also look at the Aorus ATC700, and that looks pretty cool IMO (as my gpu and motherboard are aorus so the RGB will sync), but ive heard it doesnt perform that well.Īlso im going for a black and blue theme, so it doesnt need RGB (although it would be nice) if its either somewhat blue or blacked out. Ive also been told about the Dark Rock Pro 4 as an air cooler, but i would like a AIO (mainly for the looks, and slightly better performance) unless someone can change my mind. I really like the look of something like the Kraken AIO coolers, but they are pretty expensive compared to some of the other AIO coolers, and especially compared to air coolers. Im going for a build that looks good and performs really well too, and if it'll be relatively quiet then thats a plus, but i dont care too much about sound when under load, just at idle would like it to be quiet. The case will most likely be a NZXT H700 (and it can hold a 360mm rad either at the front or top, air cooler: Up to 185mm). Im upgrading my rig from a 4670k and hyper 212 evo, to a completely new z390 system with a 9700k. I know this has probably been asked quite a few times, but ive done some searching and cant come to a conclusion.
